Miles Above the Rest Bake Shop – Branding and Logo Design

Client Brief

Miles Above the Rest Bake Shop approached us with a request for a logo that had both character and kitchen elements to represent their artisan bakery. In keeping with the client’s request, we explored various kitchen-related symbols such as small appliances, baking pans, and ingredients. However, after multiple iterations, we found that a mixing bowl paired with a spatula captured the brand’s character perfectly. The inclusion of the batter spread not only added an element of motion and energy but also brought a sense of playfulness and authenticity, essential for representing a business that thrives on creativity and custom-made offerings.

Target Audience

Miles Above the Rest Bake Shop caters to a local artisan market, focusing on handcrafted, custom desserts. The bakery's logo needed to appeal to a community-oriented audience that values personalized service and high-quality, homemade products.
