However, after thoughtful consultation, we realized that a complete brand refresh would more effectively communicate their commitment to eco-friendly, biodegradable chemical solutions. By retaining the essence of their original green leaf symbol and building an entirely new identity around it, we crafted a clean, minimalist brand that not only aligns with their values but also significantly boosts their market presence.

Hacksaw’s Chemical Supply: Branding & Logo Design

Overview

Hacksaw’s Chemical Supply approached us seeking to revamp their brand identity. As a small business specializing in eco-friendly and biodegradable chemicals, they wanted a design that would communicate their green mission while standing out in a commercial space dominated by industrial brands. What began as a simple request to vectorize and separate their original logo evolved into a full rebranding effort, maintaining only the essence of the original green leaf element.

The primary goal of this project was to develop a modern and cohesive brand identity that could visually express the company's commitment to eco-friendly solutions. With that in mind, we built a clean, minimalist logo centered around a modern green leaf symbol—representing both nature and sustainability. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect these values, blending natural greens with bold blacks to create a professional yet approachable look.

Challenges and Solutions

Initially, the client sought a straightforward update, but after assessing their needs, we realized that starting from scratch would yield the best results. While preserving the recognizable green leaf element, we expanded the design into a comprehensive suite of brand assets. This included a primary logo, a secondary stacked version, a wordmark, a seal for certifications, and a favicon for digital use. By doing so, we ensured a consistent brand experience across all platforms and touchpoints, providing flexibility for different applications.
